Anyone has parts and accessories for Mustang 1968?
Submitted by widerim on Wed, 11/07/2007 - 04:47.I'm looking for parts and accessories of Ford Mustang, that Steve McQueen had driven in the 1968 movie "Bullitt". If not, any Mustang accessories will help me in a restoration project.
How do you lock your hard tonneau cover?
Submitted by widerim on Fri, 11/02/2007 - 09:25.I've just recently bought a hard tonneau cover for my F100. The cover is a custom made piece, and in a good shape and condition. Because it was mainly used around rural Dakota, it didn't suffer much damage from weather and inconsiderate users.
Which auto accessories are becoming obsolete?
Submitted by widerim on Tue, 10/23/2007 - 05:25.There are so many auto accessories being offered to car enthusiasts nowadays. Another example, central locking mechanisms.
How to protect soft tonneau covers?
Submitted by widerim on Sun, 10/07/2007 - 08:36.My earlier post about winter protection for tonneau covers remains unaswered...
Anyway, another question: How to maintain soft tonneau covers?
My black vinyl XLP toneau seems to be hardly coping with the harsh Arizona sun.
Only after 1 year of use, toneau is covered in micro wrinkles, and I'm worried that the surface will start cracking.
Are truck spare parts from junkyards better than non-original ones?
Submitted by widerim on Wed, 10/03/2007 - 09:17.Where do you get parts for your truck?
My 1985 Volvo needs a new water pump and radiator.
I'm not going to buy new original parts from the Volvo dealer. Too expensive, for what I use this truck (light farm work). People are telling me to buy them from a huge junk yard, just on the outskirts of Dallas. It's only 50 miles from me.
Is there any Winter Protection for Tonneau?
Submitted by widerim on Fri, 09/28/2007 - 00:53.Hi,
Just wondering if anybody knows an effective protection for a vinyl tonneau?
The last one I've on my Toyota lasted just 3 seasons. Admittedly, here in Arizona the weather gets extrime in both winter and summer. But, 3 seasons seems to be quite short...
